I fell in love with my first dog at the age of three. His name was Jimmy and he was a working Border Collie. I was hooked. Dogs have since been a big part of my life.

I met Tim in 2013, he was not an animal person until he fell in love with my 4 guinea pigs. I had the bright idea that I’d love to go to Crufts in 2015 as there were a few breeds of dogs that I was interested in. I met my first Vallhund and was absolutely hooked. I had discovered the breed whilst researching dogs that were small but with big dog personalities and the Vallhund just fitted the bill perfectly.

A few years later I went to a Swedish Vallhund open show where I met Penni who belonged to Sharon Sibley. I fell head over heels for her and was desperate for a Penni baby. In 2019 we had moved into a bigger house and it was the perfect time to get a puppy. Unfortunately Penni had failed to get pregnant however a litter in Switzerland had just been born with Penni’s mum being the dam. That’s how we got our first Vallhund and first Dog, Oakley.
